When I was seven years old, I took an interest in drawing ... mostly pirate ships, Godzilla, things on fire... I like to think that I haven't strayed too far from my intellectual beginnings. Today I usually carry two books at all times; one to read, one to draw in. Nothing gives me more pleasure than taking liberties with an author's text; especially if happens to be about pirates or giant lizards setting things on fire...
